Russian farmers today are inclined to invest in the repair and maintenance of previously purchased equipment, rather than to order a completely new or used one. This is shown by the result of a survey conducted jointly by the Aurora Agro Parts portal (www.aa-p.ru) and Avito.ru. There is an unambiguous trend towards increasing the useful life of agricultural machinery: farmers have begun to treat it more carefully, respectively, the need for agricultural spare parts and high-quality maintenance is increasing. Based on the data of the Avito platform, in 2024, the demand for spare parts increased by an order of magnitude compared to the previous year, and the supply increased almost twelve times. The top five cities with a record increase in demand for spare parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a dynamic agricultural industry.

Based on the analytics selected from the Pole.ru, there is an increase in the interest of agricultural producers in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year by an order of magnitude. Farmers are currently prioritizing an efficient and, more importantly, fast method of ordering goods online. Therefore, it becomes clear who is the manufacturer of spare parts, and at the same time, comprehensive support is provided, from the selection of components to shipping. In addition, leasing of agricultural machinery is relevant, the demand for it is growing five to six times annually, especially taking into account state support.

Based on information received from the Avito.ru portal, at the beginning of 2025, over 145000 ads for the sale of parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation were presented on the site. Of this volume, more than 118000 ads concerned the sale of new spare parts. The most popular parts in Russia over the past year were bodies, booths, attachments, platforms, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. The director of the profile direction “Spare Parts” on the portal “Avito.ru” expresses the opinion that against the background of the course for import substitution, the agricultural sector is showing rapid growth and has indicated a growing need for components, equipment, specialists and equipment.

Earlier, the analysis of Rosspetsmash noted a decrease in the supply of tractors in the Russian Federation in 2024. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, during this year, Russian agricultural enterprises have reduced the volume of orders for key types of agricultural machinery. It is believed that this trend will remain relevant in the future.
